Well i had a great day on fri n sat. Went for the missions conference. Real great time. Wished it was longer but i was real tired even though it was 2 days conference only. Well, let me share with u all wat happened n wat i learned. Pity only Kelvin from YC was there. Maybe there was others also that i didn't meet. This conference really made me aware of how self-centred i was. It made me think of all the people out there who didn't have the same privelege like i do of knowing Christ. And worst still is what i'm doin for this people. I could be helping this people by just praying. Here's a question for you. How many of u pray for other nations apart for those unreached people group flashed on the screen every sunday? Well this conference really stirred my heart to commit myself to praying for some of the nations. Well here are the 10 of the most Goliath fisted nation in George Verwer's list. Maybe if your thinking of praying for a nation but don't know which one, you could pray for one of this.

1. North Korea

2. Saudi Arabia

3. Libya

4. Iraq

5. Iran

6. Chechnya

7. Turkmenistan

8. Tibet

9. Socotra

10. Afghanistan

He also gave 7 words for our church that God impressed upon his heart for our 25th anniversary.

1. Reality - we should hunger for reality that is becoming people who are real - honest,  and etc.

2. Vision - to have grace to continue in the vision, be steadfast, have flexibility and adaptability in our vision and to redefined things

3. Urgency - most sin of youths today is the sin of wasting time. Stop procrastinating. In YCians term also stop being complacent.

4. Generosity - Beware of self and materialism. Don't be overtly generous and become foolish too. Be wise in your giving also. Ask God for wisdom.

5. Grace - We have to have grace as grace is what keeps everything together.

6. Forgiveness - people are not functioning well well b'coz ppl have not forgiven themselves.

7. Proactive - the same verse Un Mike gave a few weeks ago. 1 Cor. 15:58

This is something for u in brief.

5 reasons why u should go into missions.

1. The need is great

2. Not many ppl go as far as you are already - This statement is because our church has an antioch church vision and because of what we have already as in FGA.

3. There are so many open doors

4. We have the money in God's peoples hand

5. God won't have give you something that He won't give grace for.

Here are 7 global challenges.

1. Global poverty

2. Children at risk - child prostitution, abuse, etc

3. Women at risk

4. Global diseases - HIV/AIDS, malaria, etc

5. Impure water

6. Abortion

7. SIN

Well here is an important statement that struck me "Live beyond what you like and dislike". Live as it is a calling.
